最初の段落    最初の段落では通常、「感謝」の意を表明します 
単純に感謝を表す場合  We wish to express our appreciation to the reviewers for their insightful comments on our paper. The comments have helped us significantly improve the paper.   
感謝をより強調したい場合  We wish to express our strong appreciation to the reviewers for their insightful comments on our paper. We feel the comments have helped us significantly improve the paper. In particular, we wish to acknowledge their highly valuable comments on X.   

本題の段落ー導入文    全文が複雑で長くになりそうな場合は、本題は感謝の言葉で始めるのが一般的です。例文をいくつか紹介します 
単純に感謝を表す場合  We wish to thank the reviewer for this comment.  上記の3つの例は、一般的で、ほとんど同じ目的で使用できます。  
同上、別案1  We appreciate the reviewer's comment on this point.   
同上、別案 2   We thank the reviewer for this comment.   
感謝の意を強く表す  We strongly appreciate the reviewer's comment on this point.   
さらに強い感謝の意を表す  We wish to express our deep appreciation to the reviewer for his insightful comment on this point.   
社交辞令として感謝の意を表す  We acknowledge the reviewer's comment on this point.  一見中立的だが、納得できないと査読者に取られる可能性あり 
査読者コメントの意味が不明瞭な場合  We are uncertain as to the meaning of the reviewer's comment.   
査読者コメントの意味が理解できない場合  If we understand the reviewer correctly in stating A, then we suggest X. On the other hand, if he is referring to B, then we consider Y.  コメントが、Aの意味の場合はX、Bの意味の場合はYと言う2つの可能性のある回答を述べている 
同上、別の表現  We are unclear if the reviewer's comment refers to A or B. If A, we suggest X. However, we consider this case to be unlikely, because of P. Rather, we consider the correct interpretation is B, because of Q. In that case, we consider Y.   この例文は、査読者コメントについて回答者の解釈を加えている 
査読者の間違いを提示する   We believe the reviewer is mistaken on this point.  丁寧

査読者コメントに不満がある  The reviewer's intention in making this comment is unclear to us. We request that he reexamine the relevant section of the paper.  きつい表現です。できれば利用しないで済ませたいですね

査読者コメントに基づき、小さな変更を加えた場合  In accordance with the reviewer's comment, we have changed this to X.  序文も必要ないような小さなコメントの時は、この文章で十分です 
小さな間違いを訂正した報告  This error has been corrected in accordance with the reviewer's comment.  同上 
軽微な訂正コメントへの単純な同意  Accordingly, we have changed this to X.  上記は、導入文に続きます。導入文を省略する場合は'Accordingly'の代わりに'In accordance with the reviewer's comment'を使いましょう。 
同上、代替表現 1  Accordingly, we have added X to this section.  新しく加えた文章が少ない時は'Accordingly, we have added'X'to this section.'を用います。 
同上、代替表現 2   Accordingly, we have changed this text to: New text  新しい文章を沢山加える場合 
追加説明が必要とのコメントに単純に同意   We agree that this point requires clarification, and have added the following text to the Discussion (p. 9, lines 6-9): New text   
参考文献追加コメントに単純に同意する場合  We agree with the relevance of this reference, and have added it to the Discussion (p. 8, line 15) and References.  参考文献のみが問題になっている場合、詳細を述べる必要はありません

意味が不明瞭なコメントをはっきりさせる  If we understand the reviewer correctly in stating A, then we suggest X. On the other hand, if he is referring to B, then we consider Y.   コメントが、Aと言う場合はX、Bと言う場合はYと言う回答、の様に2つの可能性をまとめて述べる

オプション     
査読者のXと言う意見には同意。しかし、Xの結果、査読者はAであると言うことに納得できず、Bだと主張する場合  The reviewer notes X, and that this indicates A. In this regard, however, reference 1 and reference 2 showed that X suggests B1 and B2. Further, in the present study, we showed that X results in B3. We therefore feel that the result of X under the present experimental conditions is not A but rather B, and therefore wish to retain the original text.   
Xと言う点では同意。しかし、Xの重要性を査読者はQだと言う点には納得できず、正しい解釈はPだと著者が主張する   We agree with the reviewer that X. However, our finding in the A experiment showed that P1. もう1つの選択肢として、査読者の解釈もありうるが・・・と言う場合   However, given the reviewer's comment, we have added the following to the Discussion (p. 9, lines 3-5): New text  New text の例: 'A second possible interpretation of X is Q. This would be supported by the finding that Q1. We consider this is unlikely, however, because of P1 and P2.'  
図・表を減らすように言われて対応する  As requested, we have removed Figures 2, 4 and 6 from the revised draft and have combined Tables 2 and 4.   
図に説明文を加えるように言われて対応する  As requested, we have removed this information from the text and placed it in Table 3.   
原稿を縮めるように言われて対応する  In accordance with the reviewer's request, we have shortened the manuscript by X words to a revised total of Y words. This has been achieved by changing the style of expression and deleting unneccesary text.    
英語の表現を修正した場合  We have had the manuscript rewritten by an experienced scientific editor, who has improved the grammar and stylistic expression of the paper.  このような時は、DMCにお任せ下さい!
