Two conditions necessary for writing

There are two essential requirements to good writing.

It is a strange but true fact that native speakers are rarely or never taught these requirements, and most are unaware of them. Yet these two simple, logical ideas can improve your writing by providing a strong guide to how ideas should be expressed in writing.

Requirement 1: Ideas must be expressed in the correct hierarchy of value

This means that the structure of a sentence must reflect the relative importance of the ideas it expresses. In other words, the important ideas should be in the important parts of the sentence, and the less important ideas should be in the less important parts.

Requirement 2: Ideas must be expressed economically

The ideas must be expressed in their most essential or basic form, so that the reader needs to use the minimum mental effort to understand them.
